Who owns the machine?

For the first 12 months we own the coffee machine. After 12 months, the machine is yours to keep.

How much is a subscription and how do the monthly payments work?

Your monthly subscription fee is calculated based on the machine selection and the amount of coffee you would like delivered each month. For example, the Bambino Plus with 1kg of coffee per month is $1048 total over the 12 months which is inclusive of the sign up fee. You will pay $179 for the first month ($79 monthly fee + $100 once-off sign up fee), then $79 per month thereafter. 

Payment is by direct debit of your selected credit card each month prior to coffee delivery.

Which machine is suitable for me?

The Bambino Plus is a great compact, entry-level machine – perfect for apartment living or for those who just want simplicity. It features an automatic steam wand for milk texturing, has a quick 3 sec heat up time for coffee without the wait and a 54mm porta-filter with 19gm dose for consistent café quality. The Barista Pro is a great mid-tier option. With an intuitive LCD display, a built-in grinder for coffee on demand and a manual steam wand, there is more room to play around here to get coffee exactly as you like it. You can find the full product specifications here.

Our most premium model, the Dynamic Duo is for those who want total control and flexibility. A dual stainless steel boiler system means you can be extracting your shot while simultaneously steaming your milk. With an adjustable dose control grinder for ultimate flexibility, this one is for those who are serious about coffee. You can find the full product specifications here.

What happens if I cancel before 12 months?

If you wish to cancel your subscription before 12 months an early termination fee will apply as follows – Bambino Plus ($450), Barista Pro ($775) and Dynamic Duo ($1,350). Once this fee has been paid you will own this machine and any monthly coffee deliveries will stop. Email us at sales@coffeehit.com.au or give us a call on (03) 9421 5585 to cancel.

Do I need ground or whole beans?

Both the Barista Pro and Dynamic Duo machines come with grinders so whole beans is the way to go. As the Bambino Plus doesn’t have a grinder, we will send you ground coffee unless you tell us otherwise.

Why do I need to pay a sign up fee?

This covers the set up of your subscription and delivery of your machine. Consider it as a down payment on your machine which lowers your monthly fee.

How much coffee will I need each month?

Across a month, 1kg of coffee will give you 2-3 coffees per day. If you enjoy more than that or have other coffee drinkers in the house, you may want to look at 1.5 or 2kg for the month.

What happens after 12 months?

After 12 months, the machine is yours to keep and we’ll roll you over to a comparable ‘coffee only’ subscription. If you don’t want to be rolled over after the 12 months, just email us at sales@coffeehit.com.au or give us a call on (03) 9421 5585 at the end of your subscription and we’ll cancel your subscription for you.

Can I make changes to my coffee subscription?

Due to the nature of the subscription, unfortunately not. However, you’ll be able to grab any extras you like at any time, from our web shop using your 15% member discount. 

Is my Breville machine covered under warranty?

All three Breville coffee machines come with a standard 2-year warranty. Please retain your guarantee card and Coffee Hit sales order receipt as proof of purchase. These documents are required to make a warranty claim.
